Toy review: NECA Alien Vs Predator Arcade Game Xenos, movie style

Now this is the method of redrawing. When NECA originally designed and made action figures based on the Alien vs. Predator arcade game creatures, they drew them in a cel-shading style to resemble actual game screens. The original version-at least on the Alien side-sold out quickly. So now the aliens created by these three games are on their way back. However, this time, they took on a darker, more faded color and covered with a shiny, wet appearance. The idea is, what if these versions actually appear in the movie? What will the "reality" version look like?

The Predators in the game are not as intense as the redesign, and human two-piece suits may still be in stock in most places. So maybe don't hold your breath because of your realistic view of them.

Even the packaging imagines them appearing in "Alien" in case customers think their brains are playing tricks. Want to know why no one sees pupa aliens, razor-claw aliens, or arachnoid aliens in James Cameron's movies? Because that only happened in a parallel universe imagined by NECA. Maybe the same is true for yours.

These numbers are packaged in a window box, which is simpler than the company's Ultimates. But if anyone thinks that this means a drop in prices, please think again. All three can be used as a set on various websites, and the $119.99 for Entertainment Earth is close to average. (Superhero Hype has established an affiliate partnership with Entertainment Earth and may earn fees based on purchases made through site links.) At $40 per person, this is becoming NECA's standard at this point. Buyers can accept it or not; for buyers who have not received these numbers before, this is obviously easier to decline. If Super7 gets the right to make exact replicas of the 7-inch Kenner toys from the 90s, we know that they will cost $55.

A variety of plastic shirts and ties are used for packaging, which may cost less than cable ties. Although many collectors used to complain about these, the good news is that they can be manually undone by anyone. These can be pulled out, but they require strength and cause a rebound. Use nail clippers or scissors. The tail tip of Chrysalis and Razor Claw warped due to the way the tie was fixed on the tail. Hot water may come in handy to reshape them.

In fact, at least in the samples we sent by NECA, many joints felt scary. Freezers or hot water may help try to create the perfect posture, or play with them harder. They are marked as 17 years and older on the packaging, but we all know that this is mainly because ignorant parents who shop at Walmart and Target will not sue. In any case, most buyers of action figures nowadays have checked boxes over 17 years old.

Although muted, the basic color scheme of these aliens remains the same. Razor Claws has purple highlights, Arachnoid is basically blue, and Chrysalis has tan highlights. Each also uses a different base part. Without the hands of each NECA Alien, it is difficult to determine which number gets which. Razor Claws seems to use the classic "Big Chap" body parts, Chrysalis seems to be similar to gorillas, and Arachnoid uses Dog Alien's body, although not its more canine hind legs.

Arachnoid membrane has no special "arachnoid membrane". It still has limbs, basically the shape of a mammalian body. But it can stand on all fours or stand upright.

If the alien has the characteristics of a host, then the Razor Claw must have hatched in Freddy Krueger. Or no matter how the packaging creature explains how the bone deposits harden the carapace of the alien pupae, it enters the nails, and so on. Create your own head cannon. It looks pretty cool.

Chrysalis has a mini action function. In addition to its inner jaw popping out when the hinge lower teeth are opened-which is a characteristic of every NECA alien-it also has an inner head that also pops out. Just like an alien resurrecting a newborn, it has a face, giving people a strange human atmosphere under all this.

If you want, you can hide it. It can be hidden behind a carapace.

Like other aliens from NECA, we are talking about the 7-inch scale. Wonder Woman just happened to be close at hand for comparison. Nevertheless, their price is twice hers. NECA numbers have jumped from US$20 to nearly US$40 at an alarming rate, but Hasbro now charges US$31.99 for 6-inch Boba Fett numbers, accustomed to the new specifications. How McFarlane still escaped with a DC figure of $19.99 is still a mystery, but don't expect it to last. We are in an ironic mid-term hike, and the redrawing of the figures you already have costs more than the original. The most likely result is fewer full collectors, resulting in fewer obscure characters. Except for lines like TMNT, the fan base has always proved that they will buy everything. at all costs.

As mentioned earlier, some of these expression points seem to be stiff, and coercion may not work. On the contrary, on Razor Claws, some people feel more loose. But the basic outline of all this is: the ball neck (the arachnoid has a larger area and is suitable for dual postures). Ball shoulders and hips. Middle torso ball. Double ball and hinge elbow. Single ball and double hinged knees. Curvy tail. Disc and pin wrist. Hinge and rocker ankle. Middle foot and middle hand hinges. The hinge claw has a pull-out inner claw. They can take almost any pose you need.

On the $40 tag, people hope to have more accessories because these are repainted. But in reality, what would they be-more faces and colored eggs? Economics aside, these are the top data on the upward trend of alien data. And it seems to be limited, so the price will only rise. If you even think you want them, buy and book now.
