In the afternoon matchup, Miami went to play against fierce rival Florida State University and qualified for the bowl in its sight. The Hurricanes led Georgia Institute of Technology 33-30 in Week 10, trailed by two points in the fourth quarter and won the third consecutive game. Running back Jaylan Knighton rushed for 162 yards and scored a touchdown in the victory.
Florida State University, after allowing Wolfpack quarterback Devin Leary to throw 314 yards and 4 touchdowns, lost 28-14 to No. 16 North Carolina State University. The Seminole team only collected 271 yards and 1.4 yards against one of ACC's better defenses, and finally fell behind the remaining three potential bowl teams on the schedule by a score of 3-6.
Miami's historical match against Seminole leads by a narrow margin of 35-30 and has won four consecutive games. Recently, then-no. 12 Miami defeated Florida State University 52-10 in 2020, 332 yards away from the former starting quarterback D'Eriq King.
Youth Sports: It has been a difficult season for Miami, and they are ranked 13th in the top 25 of the Associated Press. After being defeated by Alabama and Michigan State University, the Hurricanes lost in fierce duels with Virginia and North Carolina. But since losing five key veteran starters-including the Kings-the Hurricanes have started a youth movement. During that time, Miami beat North Carolina State University, No. 21 Pitt and Georgia Institute of Technology in three consecutive games.
Passing sprinter: Although Florida State University is still trying to find its identity on both sides of the ball, defensive end Jermaine Johnson has quietly developed into one of the best rushers in the country. Future QB: Miami freshman QB Tyler Van Dyke entered the lineup only because the Hurricanes’ top two quarterbacks were injured, but quickly established himself as one of the country’s most exciting young signalers . Van Dijk led the plan to a 4-2 record, including three consecutive victories. In the course of consecutive wins, Van Dyke completed 72.5% of passes, completed 1,140 yards, 10 touchdowns and 1 interception.

Miami has found a formula that worked in the past three weeks and can qualify for the bowl through victory. This is an important moment after the struggle at the beginning of the season. Each side of Florida State University has some good organizers, but there is no reason to believe that Seminoles can keep up with the young talents of the United States. Forecast: Miami (-2.5)
