Men can't handle menstrual period simulator-Upworthy

2021-11-13 02:04:25 By : Ms. Joyce zhang

Man tries a menstrual period simulator.

Imagine how different the world would be if cisgender men were fertile? Will Texas try to ban abortions in six weeks or provide abortions on demand?

Will we live in a country without mandatory paid maternity leave? How much cheaper childcare services will be? Will the products be taxed during the period? How will we treat people who experience menstrual cramps?

Some brave people decided to take a look at the lives of menstruating people in interesting but instructive videos that went viral on TikTok. In the video released by Benz Trap House with more than 1.4 million views, a group of people tried to use the menstrual simulator to experience the real feeling of dysmenorrhea.

The menstrual period simulator is essentially the same as the labor simulator. They are called transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) machines and are designed to relieve pain. But when a gap appears, it will produce strong and debilitating discomfort.

The team used semi-scientific methods to conduct experiments and used a woman as a control object. At the beginning of the video, she connected the simulator to the area close to the ovaries and adjusted it to 10, the highest setting. In the editing, when she endured the extreme environment without showing any discomfort, the group looked impressive. Men don’t do that. "Does it hurt like this?" the second person said, and then laughed nervously. The third person said that he has been feeling knee pain. At some point in the video, the menstrual period simulator is connected to a woman and a man at the same time. When the device is turned on, men experience extreme pain, while women stand still, claiming that the sensation produced by the machine is "not even as bad as cramps." "Yes, my cramps are more painful than this," she added. Many menstruating men feel that they are recognized after seeing their menstruation for the first time. "'That feeling on your back, Boy?' Every month, friend," said a commenter named Crystal. One of the most popular comments came from Candyce, who said: “I believe that if men can get pregnant, they will have abortion clinics in every corner and enjoy paid maternity leave throughout their pregnancy.” Another commenter S DeMarco pointed out that women must spend a whole day in pain and cannot rest. "When he said,'What should I do when it stabbed me?' You go to work, clean the house, and then continue bb," she wrote. Shellz has raised reality to the next level. "Let's add headache. And menstrual stool. And bloating. And the feeling of blood leaving you. And nausea," she wrote. This light-hearted video goes viral on the Internet and it’s cool because it will give some people new respect for the pain they experience during menstruation. Some people who watched the video believed that sex education courses should be mandatory to use menstrual simulators. Imagine if everyone only experienced menstrual cramps once in their lives, how different would the world be?

Marcella Lopez didn't always want to be a teacher-but once she became a teacher, she found her passion. This is why she has worked in this industry for 23 years and spent the past 16 years at her current school in Los Angeles, where she mainly teaches children of color.

"I want goals, give back, live a life of public service, ignite the sparks of others, make them think critically, and be a kind person," she said. "More importantly, I hope my students can see themselves when they see me, and believe that they can do the same."

Ms. Lopez didn't meet a teacher of color until college. "That moment changed my life," she recalled. "As a student, this is the first time I feel comfortable with my skin. I always remember how I felt in the university class many years ago. This keeps me down to earth year after year."

This also guided her teaching. Ms. Lopez said that she always chooses writers and characters who represent her students and celebrate other races so that students can learn about other cultures and connect with what they read.

"I hope they see themselves in the books they read, respect those who don't look like them, and realize that they may have a lot in common with the [other cultures] they read," she said.

She also hopes that her students will have a different experience in school.

When Ms. Lopez was in the first grade, she "was talking to a freshman in Spanish. When a staff member overheard our conversation and instructed me not to speak in Spanish, she showed her the bathroom Location," she recalled. "In'this school', we only speak English," she remembered them saying. "From that day on, I began to feel uncomfortable and embarrassed when speaking the language of my family and my ancestors; I learned the language first."

She said that part of her job is to find new ways to promote acceptance and inclusion in the classroom.

"After the death of George Floyd, the global movement around social justice expanded my responsibility as a teacher to learn how to discuss racial equality in a way that is meaningful to my elementary school students," she said. "Helping them see themselves in a positive light, making our classroom family feel more inclusive, and making our classroom a safe place for real conversations is exciting."

One way she does this is to raise funds through DonorsChoose to buy books and other materials with different perspectives for her class.

The Allstate Foundation recently partnered with DonorsChoose to create a racial justice and representation category to encourage teachers like Ms. Lopez to create projects that address racial equality in the classroom. To initiate this category, the Allstate Foundation provided donations totaling $1.5 million for these projects. Together, they hope to raise awareness and provide funding for projects that bring diversity, inclusiveness, and identity learning materials into classrooms across the country. You can view projects that are currently seeking funding here.

When Ms. Lopez wanted to include inclusive coloring books in her curriculum plan, the Allstate Foundation fully funded her projects so that she could purchase them.

"I am a lifelong learner, striving to be the best version of myself and always trying to inspire my primary school students to do the same," she said. Every week, Ms. Lopez and the students will focus on a page in the book and discuss the information in it. She plans to do it again this school year.

"DonorsChoose has changed the rules of the game for my students. Without the support of all the donors gathered on this platform, we would not be able to provide my students with anything, especially during the pandemic," she said .

"My passion is to continue to work hard to be excellent, and continue to find ways to use literature as an anchor to portray images that reflect my students," she said.

Emily Ratajkowski discusses the appeal of Pete Davidson.

Pete Davidson, 27, has earned the reputation of being one of Hollywood's most prolific women and men for dating some of the most beautiful first-line women in the past three years. However, many people do not understand the appeal of the stars of "Saturday Night Live".

Davidson has tattoos from head to toe. He suffers from Crohn's disease, has undergone multiple rehabilitation treatments, says he looks like a "fission baby", and only recently moved out of his mother's basement in Staten Island.

But in the past seven years, he is also one of the most popular actors in "SNL", and co-authored and starred in the critically acclaimed "King of Staten Island."

This is a brief overview of Davidson's romantic relationships over the past few years.

Davidson and the pop star revealed that they fell in love at the end of May 2018 and got engaged soon. The couple cancelled their engagement and broke up in October 2018 after only five months together.

The two were photographed kissing during a game with the New York Rangers in January 2019, but the two broke up in April because Davidson had to go to a rehabilitation center and Beckinsale was busy making a movie.

Davidson and the "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" star established a short-lived relationship at the end of 2019. Her mother Andy McDowell called their flirting "very good."

After Qualley, Davidson moved to Kaia Gerber, the daughter of Cindy Crawford. Four months later, the couple broke up while Davidson was dealing with addiction and mental health issues.

Davidson and the "Bridgeton" star met for about six weeks, but things eventually deteriorated because Dynevor was not geographically popular.

Davidson and Kardashian were found holding hands while riding a Halloween roller coaster together, which made some people believe they were romantic. However, the source on page 6 described them as "just friends." When Kardashian hosted in October, the two shared a kiss in SNL's "Aladdin" sketch.

Appearing in "Late Night with Seth Meyers" on Monday, model Emily Latakowski explained Davidson's appeal, which is easy to understand.

"He is a professional," Ratakowski said of Davidson. "First, you should know about Pete." She added, "Pete—he is tall. Obviously women find him attractive."

"I think only other men find [he is not attractive]. Guys are like,'Wow. What does that guy have?' I thought, I mean, he looks super charming," she said. "He is fragile. He is cute. His nail polish is great. He looks good!" In addition, he "has a good relationship with his mother." She concluded: "We like it. It's hard to find them."

Beckinsale recently liked a post on Instagram, confirming a similar statement about Davidson. The content of the post is as follows:

"I like that every time Pete Davidson starts dating another beautiful celebrity, everyone likes'wtf is happening, how did he do it, what's the mystery??" Everyone refused to accept him There may be the possibility of a good personality. "

Obviously, Davidson is also a very careful boyfriend.

"When I am in love, the language of my love is that I treat people with me like a princess," he told the newspaper, "I try to surpass myself as much as possible," he said, "because this is you What should you do? If you have a relationship with someone, you should try to make that person feel as special as possible."

The fact that women all over the world fall in love with Davidson actually shows some great things. This shows that even in the glorious world of Hollywood, a person who is funny, focused, vulnerable, charming, down-to-earth, and loves his mother has some irresistible charm.

As a child, Jamel Holmes knew he wanted to be a teacher. He would do spelling tests and play math games with other children in an apartment building in South Bronx, New York on a rainy day.

But throughout elementary school, Holmes never had a teacher who looked like him. It wasn't until the seventh grade that he had his first black male teacher-Mr. Emdin. In some ways, he is lucky. Nearly 80% of teachers in the United States are white, and many Americans do not even have a non-white teacher during the entire education process.

Teachers of color make a difference, which is why the educational non-profit organization DonorsChoose cooperated with the Allstate Foundation to support them. According to research conducted by Johns Hopkins University and American universities, at least one black teacher in grades three to five can reduce the likelihood of black students dropping out by as much as 39% and increase the likelihood of students from low-income families dropping out. Desire to go to college. An analysis published in Education Next also found that black teachers tend to have higher expectations of black students, which helps to achieve greater success.

The diversity of teaching also helps white students. Education laboratory REL Northwest found that white students with non-white teachers develop better problem-solving and critical thinking skills, expand their creativity and the range of social and emotional skills, and enhance their sense of civic participation .

A joint initiative of DonorsChoose and the Allstate Foundation provides individuals and groups with opportunities to help bridge the racial gap in the classroom. On the one hand, the Allstate Foundation will match all donations to teachers of color who use the DonorsChoose crowdfunding project for the first time. DonorsChoose also partnered with the Allstate Foundation to launch racial justice and representation categories on the website, making it easy for donors to help fund classroom projects that focus on increasing curriculum diversity and creating a more inclusive environment. From buying books written by different authors to providing materials for anti-racism education, donors can directly support teachers who are committed to racial equality.

Charles Best, the founder of DonorsChoose, said: "When students see their identity reflected in their teachers and learning materials, their achievements skyrocket." "Research also shows that too many students of color And students from low-income families enter the classroom without enough books, technology, and supplies. By creating this new category on DonorsChoose, we hope to support these students and speak for their teachers and use their frontline wisdom."

In addition to using DonorsChoose to match donations for teachers of color for the first time, the Allstate Foundation will also match each donation to projects in the racial justice and representative categories, totaling up to 1.5 million U.S. dollars. You can see these items here.

Jamel Holmes did become a teacher when he grew up. He received a master's degree and now teaches special education for sixth graders at East Bronx Future College, where he is enrolled in the same school. Holmes uses DonorsChoose to help his students get what they need on and off campus. He crowdfunds technical tools for the classroom and provides personal care products for students. He drove through the Bronx to provide school supplies, clothes, laundry necessities and food for children in need of the family, and even took students to get a haircut for free. He wants to be a role model for students to ask for help.

"When I think of black male teachers...not many of us," Holmes said. "What we bring is more than just academics, courses, pedagogy... [we bring] real life experiences, in which we can connect with students outside of the classroom."

Schools are responsible for providing a safe, nurturing and fair environment for students and teachers. Supporting educators trying to create this environment by helping to fund racial equality projects is a good starting point.

Roger Williams Park Zoo on Facebook.

What do you get when you hold a private violin concert for the three elephants? happiness. Pure happiness.

Kate (matriarch), Ginny (child with slash problem) and Baby Alice are beloved residents of Roger Williams Park Zoo, and they got them from Kevin Loser (aka Big Lux) Own VIP performance. According to his biography, although Big Lux is classically trained, his style tends to be a unique fusion of jazz, bluegrass and hip-hop.

Basically, these elephants participated in a great show.

Someone commented that "Music is the language of all life". Considering the way Little Alice (or Ginny?) closes her eyes while clearly enjoying Big Lux's interpretation of Gnarls Barkley's "Crazy", I have to agree.

You can check out more of Big Lux's music on his website, including the truly gorgeous "Killing Me Softly" cover. This is great for both animal and human audiences.

Paul Rudd was named the sexiest man of 2021 by "People".

People magazine named Paul Rudd the sexiest man of 2021, which may be the most widely accepted choice in its history.

Rudd with a childish smile and flawless skin is of course very cute. But when you add his mature talents and extreme likability, this miraculous and immortal 52-year-old will be loved. He has everything-eyes, hair, teeth, body, as well as acting, humor, humility, and a really good person, making a man sexy in the eyes of most people, if not everyone, we.

Nothing explains why Rudd was named the sexiest man more than his reaction to it.

Look at what he told people:

"I do have a sense of awareness enough to know that when people hear that I will be selected, they will say,'What?' This is not hypocritical humility. There are many people who deserve this in front of me."

"When I think of myself, I think of myself as a husband and father," he said. "Just like me. I hang out with my family when I'm not working. This is my favorite." (Ru Kewen and his wife Julie have been married for 18 years. They have two children, 17-year-old Jack and Darby at 12 years old.)

"She was stunned," Rudd said of his wife's reaction to the news. "But you know she is very friendly about it. After giggling and shocking, she said,'Oh, they did it right.' "That's great. She may not be telling the truth, but what is she going to say? "

Sweet husband = Oh, too sexy.

After saying that his friends would give him "so sad" for this title, he added:

"Just as they should. I will. I mean I will try to adapt to it. I want to have this. I will not try to act like'Oh, I'm too humble.' I'm making business cards. But I have My friends will ruin me, and I hope they will. That’s why they are my friends.

True friendship = sexy, sexy, sexy.

Finally, after the title on how his life will change:

"I now hope that I will eventually be invited to some sexy dinners with Clooney, Pete and B. Jordan. I think I will be on more yachts. I am very happy to expand my yacht life. I might try very It gets better under soft light. I like thinking. I think it will help me become more introverted and mysterious. I look forward to it.

That kind of iconic playful irony somehow made him sound self-deprecating = SO DARN SEXY.

He said that when he received this message, he had to read the email twice, and his first reaction was "Oh, get ready to be angry."

But of course, there is no anger, because Paul Luther is a perfect choice. He is *just* very sexy, enough to make this title interesting, but also completely, 100%, undeniable sexy. That's it, people.

To add more interesting things to this combination, watch Stephen Colbert let Paul Luther go through a rigorous audition process to see if he deserves to be named the sexiest man:

Of course he is. In mind and body, as Colbert showed so lively:

Thank you, people, for finally admitting this. Thanks to the #crushforlife tag, it represents all of us.
