WINNING any prizes on any kind of arcade games is slightly hit or miss.

But this keen gamer has shared how they manage to beat the claw machines without fail.

TikTok user Brandon posted the trick claiming that "you have been lied to your entire life."

In the clip the gaming pro shared that the key to winning on the claw machines begins with centring the claw.

"The press the button," he said.

After that all you've got to do is "press it again to grab," he explained that pressing the button twice is a must, "If you don't press it again, you wont win."

In the clip it looks as if the crane tried to grab the giant Hello Kitty toy after the button is pressed the first time.

But the prize is only secured once he pressed the button again - who knew?

If you're planning a trip to the arcade this summer it's the perfect opportunity to impress your friends with a winning streak.

The clip has over 10.2 million and people were stunned by the simple hack.

One said: "And when I tell u my jaw dropped."

Another wrote: "So all these years I've been losing all this time"

A third even quipped: "No joke I tried this and won 10."

However not everyone was convinced by the hack, one person said: "It's only on certain claw machines you can double tap."

Another keen gamer commented: "This 100% does work but I will say it doesn't always work mainly because you really have to have the skill and grab the prize in the right spot."

And another said: "This doesn't work all the time, I've never won a prize from doing this, so maybe I'm doing it wrong."
