This week at VidCon, Mr Beast surprised his fans with an impressive range of gifts, handed out through a giant gumball machine. There truly is never a dull moment in that man’s life.

Modern-day philanthropist, creator of an impressively accurate real-life Squid Game set and nice guy of YouTube, Mr Beast, has once again been giving back to his fans.

Mr Beast is no stranger to random acts of kindness. In fact, he’s created an entire brand out of it.

If he’s not recreating movies IRL, or paying his friends rather generous sums of money to compete in games against one another, then there’s a good chance Mr Beast is being generous to his ever-increasing fandom.

And this week at the internet conference VidCon, Beast was doing just that.

If there’s one consistency throughout all of Mr Beast’s content – it’s the extravagance of it all. If Beast does anything, there’s a good chance you can bet it’s over the top.

So of course, the VidCon gumball machine was no exception to the rule.

Towering at a remarkable 40ft height, users were invited to place a large coin inside the slots. They were then handed a yellow ball, which unscrewed to reveal a wide range of prizes.

you were awesome, @vidcon! thank you to everyone who came out to win prizes from the world's biggest gumball machine we made with @mrbeast and @youtube shorts 🍫 pic.twitter.com/WUzyvdOedZ

Of course, Mr Beast took a stereotypically hands-on approach to the gumball machine, opting to climb inside the structure himself to help hand out the prizes.

As generous as it was, the gumball giveaway was mainly a promotional exercise for Beast’s chocolate bar company: Feastables, with many fans given bars of it as prizes. As tasty as it might have been, I think I’d have preferred hard cash!

So just how OTT did Mr Beast go with his gumball machine? Well, there was certainly a little more than bubblegum in there.

As well as the Feastables bars that were given out, footage from Beast’s Youtube Shorts channel showed fans receiving gifts including money, Nintendo Switches, socks, video games and vouchers – quite a mixed bag.

But there was one prize to rule them all. One lucky VidCon goer received a Tesla from Mr Beast’s gumball machine.

MrBeast has been giving away merch, money, and prizes all day long at his 40-ft tall @YouTube Shorts x @feastables gumball machine 🤯 and just surprised everyone by giving one lucky fan a Tesla! #VCUS22 pic.twitter.com/q2kRtHSjDG

That’s right, a whole Tesla, from a free-to-play so-called gumball machine. There are definitely not many people who can say they won a better fairground prize than that.

You can’t help but be jealous of anyone who’s on Mr Beast’s Christmas shopping list!

In case you were in any doubt that the prizes weren’t legitimate, some lucky fans took to Twitter to show them off.

“Would u believe me if I told you I won a switch lite from the Mr beast machine at #VidCon,” tweeted one fan.

They weren’t the only ones, with another Mr Beast fan posting: “you know you’re lucky when @MrBeast give you a copy of PLA (Pokemon Legends Arceus) at @VidCon”

Stop, you’re making us jealous!
